HAVE YOUR SAY! First Ever Public Consultation on Public Service Reform

Posted 26 Jul. 2017

Senator Catherine Noone has notified me of the launch of the first ever public consultation on public service reform and I want you to have your say.

Public Service reform will be based upon a new Development and Innovation Framework designed about three pillars:
1. Delivering for the Public
2. Innovating for the Future
3. Developing People and Organisations

The Framework will set out 20 Actions which will build on the achievements of the last six years, respond to new challenges and continue to deliver improvements across the public service. The Framework will be published in late 2017, once the results of the public consultation are considered and integrated into the new Framework. A project board with Senior representatives from the civil and public service has been established to oversee the development of the Framework.

Those who wish to make a contribution to the consultation can submit their views, no later than Monday 4th September 2017, to https://per.consultation.ie/en which contains full details of the proposed new plan. Alternatively, submissions may be sent by post to: Public Consultation, Reform and Delivery Office, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, 7-9 Merrion Row, Dublin 2, D02 V223 or by email to: ourpublicservice2020@per.gov.ie

If you have any questions about this, please contact me.
