Thank you for your recent call regarding Stalleen water treatment plant (existing) in Donore, Co.. Meath.
We can report that the Stalleen Water Treatment Plant is on Irish Water’s Proposed Capital Investment Plan 2014-2016 and a preliminary report on the plant was completed under Louth County Council’s direction, prior to the establishment of Irish Water. A brief for detailed design and tender documentation was finalised this month and it is anticipated that the project will go to tender in Autumn of this year.
Irish Water’s Proposed Capital Investment Plan has been submitted to the Commission for Energy Regulation for approval. For more information please visit http://www.water.ie/news/proposed-capital-investme/
